Did you know that the DC Commission on the Arts & Humanities is one of the largest state funders of the arts in the US? (DID you also hear that Rocco wants to bring back the NEA individual artist grants???). The DCCAH has been a big supporter of mine over years, and one of the ways they support local artists is through the acquisition of works in the Public Art Bank. It seems like the call has been an annual event and this year is seeking work about the District, hurray!
