Thanks to everyone who came out to my opening on Thursday. We had a swell time and it was great to see the work placed in the former James Monroe house which felt just right, being another historic home, and probably as close to a venue like the Phillips Collection as you can get.
I think the panoramas were the biggest hit, and totally in keeping with my projects subtext of the layering of time and space – without going too quantum physics on all of you.
Putting a show together is so time consuming, and I have to say I’m looking forward to doing some serious shooting soon.
For fellow Holga fanatics the Photomedia center is hosting another Holga Show with no entry fee. If selected, you will have to donate a print to their permanent collection.
